SYSTEMS

CONVENTIONAL

Low speed equipment only, apply the finish, periodic dust mop and damp mop.

SPRAY BUFFING

Routine dust mop and damp mopping.  Slow speed buffing with spray buff and red pad weekly or monthly.  80/20 rule applies.

HIGH SPEED BURNISHING

1000-3500 RPM burnishing with machines, electric, battery, propane.  High speed burnish programs must be autoscrubbed.  Have a good base down.  Found mostly in retail operations and areas with large floor spaces.   Labor is a significant part of these programs.  Restoration products used to keep the film flexible every 5 - 10 burnishings.
